Tom Beckett	General	Try this again...I saw this unit in Binghamton NY on CP when they first acquired it in 1993, still in white along with the other five they picked up from KCS. They got repainted into the CP "Dual Flag" scheme in the late 1990's, which looked good on them. I moved away from upstate NY in 2006 and didn't see CP's trains much after that, though I knew they were steadily purging the SD 40 fleet as more GE's came available. The fact that this unit is now onto yet another career is a testament to the engineering and staying power of the SD 40-2. Good to see an old friend!! Home page 08-08-2018	8/8/2018 3:31:33 AM
